TVS has been growing steadily in the Indian market. At the ongoing 2016 Auto Expo event in the country, the company unveiled the powerful Akula 310 concept that is stated to be based on the BMW G 310 R concept that is currently manufactured at company’s facility in Hosur. Tested and designed for race track conditions the 310cc engine mated to six-speed gearbox generates a powerful 34bhp of power. To make things interesting on the race track, the bike comes with lightweight carbon fibre bodywork, stiff frame chassis and USD forks.
TVS also showcased the X21 concept that comes with a 212.4cc, 4-valve, single-cylinder engine to emerge as a brilliant performer. The bike sported monoshock suspension at the rear, a digital tachometer, acceleration timing, a trip meter, lap timing, digital speedometer and acceleration timing modes. Both the bikes being race oriented machines they have been designed and developed for maximum performance. The bikes also come loaded with all modern safety equipment.
