Mercedes-Benz India is all set to launch the much-awaited 2015 B-Class facelift in the Indian car market today. The facelifted B-Class made its global debut at the 2014 Paris Motor Show in October. The car has received styling upgrades to both exteriors and interiors; however, there will be mechanical changes.

The updated B-Class gets a more sculpted look with a more prominent grille complemented by new LED projector headlamps with daytime running lamps. The front-fascia also gets restyled front bumper and a new pair of fog lamp. At the rear, the premium car has new tail-light graphics, new design for exhaust. The bumpers are now more contoured, which adds to its sporty character.

Inside the cabin, the 2015 Mercedes B-Class gets new features like a new 8-inch COMAND infotainment system, new three-spoke multi-functional steering wheel, ambient LED lighting with a choice of 12 colors, and push button start. The hatchback also has new instrument cluster. The hatchback is likely to be offered in three trim levels - Style, Urban and AMG Line.

Under the hood, the Mercedes-Benz B-Class facelift will remain unchanged. The petrol version of the hatchback is powered by a 1.6-litre engine that is good for 120bhp, while the diesel model gets a 2.2-litre 4-cylinder motor that produces 107bhp. Both engines will be paired to a standard 7G-Tronic automatic gearbox.
