      2015 Audi RS7 facelift launched in India at Rs. 1.4 crore

      Audi India, today, launched the 2015 Audi RS7 Sportback India at Rs. 1.4 crore (ex-showroom, Mumbai and Delhi). The new RS7 has received some cosmetic updates and new colours, though the engine remains unchanged. The 2015 model gets a singleframe, honeycomb grille, Matrix LED headlights, LED brake lights cluster and modified front bumper and airdam. The car sits on a hybrid aluminum chassis, tuned with RS adaptive air suspension that saves its weight and enhances its high-speed performance.

      The new RS7 is now available in four new shades – Glacier White, Sepang Blue, Mythos Black and Floret Silver. The black interior with carbon inlays and aluminum finish gives it even more up-market feel. Other updates are - a new MMI navigation system with Nvidia graphics processor, MMI touch and Bose surround system, tyre pressure monitoring system and driver information system with shift light.

      Powering the new Audi RS7 is the same 4.0-litre, V8 Bi-turbo TFSI engine, that did duty on the old model. This engine produces a maximum power of 560bhp and a peak torque of 700Nm. Power is transmitted to all-four wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission. It also gets Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive system.

      The facelifted model is capable of achieving 0-100kmph in 3.9 seconds at a top speed between 250kmph - 305kmph. While the electronic stabilization control with Sport mode comes as standard feature, the RS sport suspension plus with Dynamic ride control is an optional offering. The 2015 Audi RS7 facelift will take on the likes of BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe, Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG ad Porsche Panamera Turbo S.
