The Japanese 2-wheeler manufacturer, Suzuki seems to be gearing up to increase its brand image before the festive season commences in India. The iconic auto maker has recently presented the updated version of its premium motorcycle, Suzuki Hayate in the Indian market. The earlier version of this bike was much lauded for its design and performance, and keeping its huge popularity in mind, the company has revived Suzuki Hayate with minor tweaks. The 2014 edition of this motorcycle is priced at a figure of Rs. 44, 969 (ex-showroom) and the bike will soon be available for purchase in an all new refreshing look.

The Suzuki Hayate 2014 edition has undergone minor surgery, which has resulted in the enhancement of both its aesthetics and performance. As per the company, the face-lifted version of Suzuki Hayate will now be available with a maintenance-free battery, tubeless tyres and much broader rims. The bike will continue to be powered by the same 1-cylinder 112cc 4-stroke air-cooled engine, which helps in churning a power output of almost 8.5 bhp with peak torque of 8.8 Nm. The engine is coupled with the same 4-speed gearbox, which allows the rider to quickly accelerate the bike. However, the Indian audience can witness some changes in the bike that are displayed by newly-painted side-cowls and decals.
