I recently purchased the new Maruti Swift ZDi model. I chose to buy the top end variant of the new Maruti Swift owing to the durability and lesser maintenance cost. The only downfall I found in the hatchback is its exterior styling which does not match up to the distinct styling of new hatchbacks today.
In terms of engine power and mileage, Maruti Swift ZDi is undoubtedly on of the best. The responsive diesel engine has optimum power capacity of 74 bhp and peak torque 150 Nm. Moreover, making Swift an excellent city vehicle is its superb mileage of 18 kmpl to 22 kmpl.
What gives Maruti Swift ZDi an edge is its fully equipped cabin that features not only abundant 5 seater space but also supports comfort equipment for enhanced drive quality. The comfortable rear seating is another reason for buying Maruti Swift ZDi. Countless rear seat comfort features is what makes the car better than Alto.
The cabin has an effective air-conditioning with automated climate control and air-quality control, rear reading lamp, rear seat headrest and more. Cabin entertainment can be counted on features like music system with CD/DVD player, AM/FM and front and rear speakers. Moreover, I find the audio system remote control to be an additional feature that adds to comfort.
