TO COMPETE AGAINST CAMRY, CIVIC, ACCORD, SUPERB & CRUZE THOSE ENJOY BETTER BRAND VALUE IN THE D-SEGMENT, KIZASHI NEEDS TO BE NOT ONLY DIFFERENT BUT ALSO SPECIAL. AWD OUGHT TO BE O/E AND STANDARD FOR ALL VARIANTS. FRUGAL DIESEL ENGINE SIMILAR TO THE MULTI-JET WILL BE MORE ATTRACTIVE FOR POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS WHO BUY BIG CARS MAINLY FOR LONG DISTANCE TRAVEL. PETROL ENGINED KIZASHI COULD EASILY FAIL IN INDIAN MARKET.
KIZASHI PRICED ABOVE 10-11 LAKHS WILL CERTAINLY BE PROHIBITIVE FOR THE INDIAN BUYER WHO MIGHT AS WELL GO FOR A PROVEN CAR OUT OF THE STABLES OF VW,GM,SKODA, TOYOTA,& OF COURSE HONDA FOR THAT KIND OF MONEY.
HOPEFULLY, THE EXPERIENCE OF BALENO, A GOOD CAR THAT DID NOT CLICK DUE TO WRONG (HIGH) PRICING DOES NOT BEFALL UPON KIZASHI.
THE WEAKEST POINT IN MARUTI CARS IS THE SUSPENSION. A HEAVY CAR LIKE KIZASHI SHOULD BE FITTED WITH STRONG AND "DURABLE" SUSPENSION TO NEGOTIATE POTHOLE-RIDDEN ROADS OF INDIA WITHOUT RUFFLING THE PASSENGERS.
