Detailed Maruti Suzuki Esteem Review

What's Good?

As one of the oldest Maruti Suzuki sedans, Esteem has had its time on the market field. Now that it is discontinued, the car is no more available on the showrooms. The car has a very good leg space for the passengers and and the seats are relatively quite comfortable. The 1.3 L Petrol engine is also immensely capable of taking you to speeds as high as almost 190 KmPH. The car is quite low in height which also gives it high amount stability so one doesnt need to worry when you rev it up on the open highways. The car indeed has quite high esteem for itself and always feels like giving you its best in all circumstances.

What can improve?

What can definitely improve is the ride height. Drive with the car filled at its full capacity and almost every bump will hit the lower cover of the car. Although at full seating capacity there is also a sluggish acceleration of the car. It not only takes time to get high speeds but also one feels that the car is trying really hard to pull itself together. Another thing that can improve is the power-steering of the vehicle. Although it is quite acceptable while driving it, after the technologies of Honda and Skoda introduced in the market, you will not feel as though you are really driving a Petrol engine powered car.
