The Mahindra XUV 3XO is expected to be launched in India in the first half of 2024

Variants

The facelifted XUV 3XO is likely to continue with the same variant nomenclature as the current car. This means W2, W4, W6, W8 and W8 (O) are the variants that will be offered across petrol and diesel options.

Exterior

The Mahindra XUV 3XO is expected to get a large number of design cues from the BE.05 concept car. These changes include new bumpers, headlamps, as well as the design of the tail lamp.

Interior

The XUV 3XO will get new interior colour schemes, bigger display for the infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, two-zone climate control, electric sunroof, and connected car technology. We expect the top variants to get six airbags, ABS with EBD, hill assist, and a traction control programme as standard.

Engine and specification

The XUV 3XO will continue with a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, 1.5-litre diesel engine and 1.2-litre GDi turbo petrol engine. A six-speed manual will be standard, while a six-speed AMT will also be offered with the turbo petrol and diesel units.

Safety

The facelifted Mahindra XUV 3XO has not been subjected to a GNCAP or BNCAP test.

Competition

The updated XUV 3XO competes with the Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, Tata Nexon, and the Maruti Suzuki Fronx.
