We expect the Kia Rio to be launched in India in Q1 of 2024.

Exterior:

The exterior highlights the signature tiger nose grille, LED DRLs with projector headlamps, sporty front bumpers, LED tail lamps, and blacked-out rear bumpers.

Interior:

Inside, the cabin comes equipped with an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, cruise control, automatic climate control, remote keyless entry, push start/stop button, and steering mounted controls.

Kia Rio can accommodate five passengers.

Engine, performance, and specifications:

In the international market, Kia Rio is available in a 1.0-litre and a 1.6-litre petrol engine. The former produces 83bhp, while the latter churns 118bhp. The engine comes mated to a six-speed manual or a CVT transmission.

Variants:

The Kia Rio can be only had in a single, fully loaded variant.

Safety:

The model is yet to be tested for safety ratings.

Competition:

Upon its launch, the Kia Rio will rival the Hyundai i20, Tata Altroz, Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Toyota Glanza, and Maruti Suzuki Swift.
