Hyundai Neo Fluidic Elantra has 7 versions available in India from which 3 are petrol and 4 are diesel cars. Hyundai Neo Fluidic Elantra comes in 6 colours, namely, Midas Gold, Mystic Blue, Phantom Black, Polar White, Red Passion, Sleek Silver.

Launched in 2012, the Hyundai Elantra has always been appreciated for its premium styling, best-in-class interior and efficient engines. It’s among Hyundai’s first models to be based on its new fluidic design philosophy that set high-standards in the premium segment. With an aim to boost its sales, the Korean automaker introduced the fifth-generation Neo Fluidic Elantra in 2012 that received a facelift in 2015 with a few cosmetic updates and additional features. However, no mechanical changes have been made to the car.

The Hyundai Neo Fluidic Elantra is one of the most fuel efficient cars in its league. The Elantra petrol’s manual version offers a maximum mileage of 16.3km/l, while the automatic variant delivers 14.34km/l. The diesel models, on the other hand, return a fuel economy of 22.7km/l (MT) and 19.11km/l (AT).

The Neo Fluidic Elantra is more up-market than the previous model. Features like all-black theme and leather wrapped steering wheel and gear knob and metallic scuff plates add a premium touch to its interior. Features on offer are rear AC vents new-generation touch audio with 4.3-inches color TFT LCD, auto cruise control, 10-way power seats with lumber support, etc.

On the exterior, the new model received noticeable changes. Though, it retains the original design and styling. Exterior updates include bold front bumper with chrome radiator grille, new fog lamps, printed glass antenna, chrome window belt-line, chrome door handles, moulding on belt line, 10-spoke 16-inches alloy wheels, dual-tone rear bumper, chrome tip exhaust and rear lamps with new LED effect.

The Hyundai Neo Fluidic Elantra is powered with the same old 1.8-litre dual VTVT petrol and the 1.6-litre VGT CRDi diesel engines. The former offers a maximum power of 146.9bhp with 177.5Nm of torque, while the latter is good for 126.2bhp and 259.8Nm. Both the powertrains are mated to a six-speed manual transmission, while an automatic transmission is offered only on the top-end models.
