Detailed Hyundai i20 Review

What's Good?

New fluidic design makes it a looker. Interiors are best in class. Features on offer are comparable to and even more than the expensive brands and models thus giving you more bang for your buck. A comfortable drive. Best car for city driving.

What can improve?

Power input - need to switch to lower gears when overtaking. No navigation system since that feature has been discontinued.

Overall Comments

Fluidic design makes it a looker. The metallic colours especially bronze and twilight blue along with the day LED lights make it a certain head turner.

Dual tone interiors and much better quality plastic than even more expensive models. Adjustable seat and steering add to driver comfort. Car is surprisingly spacious and has enough leg room for rear passengers. Adjustable head rest for all seats and usb port for music also thrown in. Dashboard aesthetics are good and it has all the information you require and then some more. Does not come with navigation system anymore. More than adequate boot space.

Handling is good and improved from earlier models. ABS braking means car will move a bit further on braking than the Maruthi's and Santro's but you get used to it. Only way to describe the engine is that ot is a smooth performer. 1.2 variant is adequate but if you are an enthusiast you should go for the 1.4.

Korean badged made in India car that is truly European class. A great buy for regular users. 1.4 recommended for enthusiasts. Truly a sensible car that appeals to your senses.
