Detailed Hyundai i20 Review

What's Good?

Bestowed with luxurious interiors, spacious legroom and pleasing comforts, Hyundai i20 sportz is the best choice among all the available hatchbacks in this bracket of 5-7 lacs. This new variant Sportz car is much more spacious than its predecessor and it has been stylized with many eye catching features. One of the major advantage being its safety features, (the car is rated 5 out of 5 in EuroNCAO safety rating) . This car beats all odds when compared in terms of service and maintenance, a value for money car.

What can improve?

Hyundai i20 sportz is a great car until you step into the driver’s shoes where you may face some hiccups. Although there is nothing wrong with the engine and drive train, but the numb steering takes away some of the enthusiasm. The major setback of the car is its engine power. Compared to the other cars such as Volksvagen Polo, Maruti Swift and Skoda Fabia, parameters such as Pick up, Power and Acceleration are struggling to compete. The road grip is also not as good as its competing hatchbacks. Mileage is also a bit disappointing measuring around 10 KMPL in city to 12-13 KMPL on the highway.
