If you have been looking for one of the most fuel efficient cars with superb performance, check out Hyundai`s new i10. The first small car in the i-series was launched in October 2007. After that there has been no looking back. The car created history by bagging more than 1 lakh export orders in less than seven months and is one of the biggest selling cars in India.

Hyundai boasts of its new Kappa engine that delivers superb performance and maximum fuel efficiency. Now the company plans to export the car tothe US market.

The Power Train

The new Hyundai i10 is fitted with the latest Kappa engine ingenuously designed at Hyundai's own research and development centre. The 1.1 litre iRDE petrol is already known for delivering unmatched fuel economy to the car owner, develops 66.7PS@5500 rpm of maximum power and a peak torque of 10.1Kgm@2800 rpm.

It is well complemented with 5-speed manual transmission with a console mounted ergonomic, short throw, and i-shift gear box. Now that means, you get more free space between the driver and passenger car seats, and hence we have more leg space for the rear seat passengers. Not forgetting the effortless power steering that makes city driving a smooth and relaxed driving experience.

Design and Style

With more leg space in the car and ergonomic styling, the Hyundai i10 gets a unique look which is the first of its kind in its segment. You will be quite pleasantly amused with its attractive exteriors that lend a rich stylish and compact look to the car. It surely gets a second glance from the onlookers on the road.

The high end model even comes with a panoramic sun roof which is again the first of its kind in its small car segment. Body colour bumpers, light weight steel body, front bumper with inserted air dam, steeply rakes, wind screen and everything else lends the car its style and elegance. All those who love small cars for their city rides, this car definitely has everything in its kitty to please you.

Interiors complement the exteriors with an extremely rich and plush look. If you are thinking about buying a small car, check out Hyundai i10 where all models come with AC heating, folding rear seats, dual tone beige interiors, rear seat belts and an electronic trip and odometer as standard equipment.

Price and Brand Value

Hyundai has launched an alpha-numeric series to create a brand value for its new series of cars. The Hyundai i30 has been launched in Europe and the i10 is already present in India bagging raving reviews from customers and car critics.
