Go for Getz Diesel!

By DieselHead on 01 July 2009

Go for the Getz Diesel!
Why? Read On. (I own one for 12 months now, and the honeymoon is still going on ...)
Class Leading Power - Very few people know that this humble-looking car actually has the Verna's 110BHP CRDi engine under its hood!
Class-leading pleasure of ownership - It is a desirable executive-class car with perfect balance of road-presence, sophistication, luxury, power, fun-to-drive and low maintenance cost.
Class-leading fuel efficiency [Real data on road]
o Mileage @ City drive with AC: 16.6km/lit of diesel
o Mileage @ Long/highway drive with AC: 19.5km/lit of diesel
Class-leading build quality comparable to a Skoda/Corolla - close a door and you will know from the solid thud. Not a minute vibe/rattle even after 10 months and 15000 kms with a diesel engine!
This machine is "A wolf in sheep's clothing" (source: Overdrive Magazine) - you have to drive it to believe the fun factor!
Tremendous low-end torque helps negotiate slow city traffic with playful ease; the car moves from standstill easily without stepping on the accelerator ... put it on 1st gear, leave the clutch and it eagerly prowls ahead, with all passengers and AC on!
Flat torque curve and smooth power delivery helps highway overtaking surprisingly easy at 80kmph - 140kmph speeds.
Mountain road climbs are tremendous fun This gem of a car eats up the ghats with effortless élan, while the Scorpios and Safaris grunt to perform.
Accelerate 0-100kmph in just 11 seconds
