The hatchback is designed on 'Fluidic' design philosophy that grants it a modern and stylish look. Despite being a small hatch, it offers a decent cabin space. Interior is feature-rich, andplastic quality is top-notch. The engine options on offer are – an 814cc (55.2bhp) and a 1000cc (68bhp) units. A bi-fuel option (LPG + Petrol) model too is on offer. Handling is good, though, high-revs performance isn’t impressive.

The Eon is one of the most fuel efficient Hyundai cars in India. It returns a maximum fuel economy of 21.1kmpl.The LPG model is also powered by the same engine, but it’s more frugal than the gasoline engine.

The car offers a well-equipped, spacious and premium interior. It is equipped with a plenty of entertainment and comfort-enhancing features such as music system with radio, CD player, iPod, Aux-in and USB connectivity, power windows, power steering etc.

The hatchback, based on Hyundai's fluidic design philosophy, looks very compact yet stylish. It sports long swept-back headlamps, aggressive grill, creases on bonnet and other styling elements.

The Eon comes with two petrol engine options – an 814cc (55.2bhp) and a 1000cc (68bhp) unit. The small 814cc engine delivers a maximum power of 55.2bhp at 5,500rpm with a peak torque of 74.5Nm at 4,000rpm. The 1000cc engine, on the other hand, produces 68bhp and 95Nm. A 5-speed manual transmission is on offer. The car, with a small wheelbase and short turning radius, is an easy to drive and park in congested city roads and parking spaces, respectively.
