Summary

Honda Mobilio has 10 versions available in India from which 4 are petrol and 6 are diesel cars. Honda Mobilio comes in 4 colours, namely, Brilliant Gold, Carnelian Red , Urban Titanium, White Orchid Pearl.

The Mobilio, launched in 2014, is Honda’s first-ever MPV (Multi-purpose vehicle) in India. The second product was the Amaze that became one of the top-selling Honda cars in India soon after the launch. Sharing exterior styling and interior components with the Brio and Amaze, it looks similar to its siblings. But, there are significant changes that differentiate it from the other two.  The MPV is available in two engine options - a 1173bhp, 1.5-litre, i-VTEC petrol and a 98.6bhp, 1.5-litre,i-DTEC diesel.

The Mobilio is one of the most fuel efficient Honda cars in India. The petrol and diesel trims return a fuel economy of 17.3kmpl and 24.2kmpl, respectively.

Interior is very spacious and well-packed. The dashboard has been carried forward from the popular Honda car models - Amaze/ Brio. However, the quality is improved. It lacks several features such auto-lock, parking sensors, Bluetooth connectivity etc. There is ample legroom and headroom, but the third row seat is congested.

Built on the extended Brio platform, the MPV looks similar to the hatchback, especially from the front end. It gets a new large chrome grille, black finishing on front bumper, head-lights with new details, black finishing around the third row window running towards the rear end.

The MPV is available in a 1.5-litre, i-VTEC petrol and a 1.5-litre, i-DTECH diesel engines that are carried forward from the City and the Amaze, respectively. The 1497cc, 1.5-litre, i-VTECH petrol unit delivers 117.3bhp with 145Nm, while the 1498cc, 1.5-litre, i-DTEC diesel engine offers 98.6bhp with 200Nm. A5-speed manual transmission is on offer. Both the engines are paired with a 5-speed manual transmission, and deliver strong performance. Ride is comfortable.
