I purchased the five-door smart hatchback

By Shirish on 15 December 2011

I purchased the five-door smart hatchback, Ford Figo nearly a year ago. My experience with Ford Figo Petrol Titanium up till now has been more that satisfactory. There is a lot going on in the trendy and quaint Ford Figo which is definitely worth mentioning.

I was immediately impressed with the fashionable exterior designing of Ford Figo. The hatchback stands out in the long line of compact cars that are available today in the Indian automobile market.

Moreover, features adding greater value to the look include body coloured bumpers, full wheel covers, body coloured outer rear view mirror and chrome finished front radiator grille.

Commenting on engine performance and efficiency, I think there is room for improvement as the 1196 cc, 16-valve DOHC engine only generates maximum power of 70 bhp at 6250 rpm and optimum torque of 102 Nm at 4000 rpm. The fuel economy I get fairly ranges around 12 kmpl to 15 kmpl.

Interior comfort quotient in Ford Figo Petrol Titanium is quite adequate and in tune with my preferences. A sufficiently spaced front and rear cabin offers abundant features that add up to a comfortable driving experience. My favourite cabin features, among many others, is undoubtedly the audio system with radio, MP3 player and four high quality speakers.
