New Force One Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV)

By Jignesh B on 12 September 2011

I was not certain whether to purchase the new Force One because it belongs to a new company in the Indian Auto-mobile market. However, when I took the car for a test drive, I was completely blown away by this Sports Utility Vehicle(SUV). Looking closely, I found the car to have a 2.2 Litre common rail turbo diesel engine. This powerful engine can produce a maximum power of up to 140 PS and maximum torque of up to 315 Nm.

In terms of average mileage and fuel economy, Ford One surpasses many of the competitors in the market. The car can delivers a mileage of about 14 km per litre while driving on city roads and about 17 km per litre while driving on highways. Coming towards the exterior design and structure of the car, Force One has a large body featuring equipment like a wide bonnet, chrome grille and high quality head lamps.

The hawkish and aggressive looks of the new Force One is somewhat synonymous to Ford Endeavour. However, Force one is jewelled with the letter 'F' at the centre of the chrome grille. Other utility features include day-time running LED lights and a front bumper that adds to the grunge and sturdy essence of the car.

In summation, Ford One has a masculine and sturdy exterior paired with an optimum engine performance. One the plus point of the SUV is that being such a sturdy vehicle on the outside, it still features a comfortable and luxurious interior. The only backdrop of this car is that it belongs to a comparatively newer company and will take time to establish itself in the Indian SUV market.
