Nissan Motors India Pvt. Ltd. launched its luxury sedan Teana on Indian shores recently. The car competes with the Honda Accord, Toyota Camry and the Skoda Superb. This car is fully imported from Japan and is Nissan�??s second car in India, the first one is the X-Trail which is a SUV.
It has a 2.3 Litre V6 petrol engine which they call VQ23DE. It produces maximum power of 170ps and torque of 224Nm. It has a 4-speed automatic transmission as standard. It is long, very long, at 4845 mm of length it goes past even the Mercedes-Benz E-Class.
Chrome and Wood are lavishly used in this car. It has very fine leather interiors with a digital visual display in the center console that tells about the time, outside temperature, distance traveled and even the fuel consumption figures. Along with this, it has a dual zone automatic climate control AC and 8-way electronically adjustable front seats. On safety perspective, it has 4 Airbags, ABS and ABD. It has intelligent key feature, door handle request switch and trunk opening request switch and an ignition knob. If you have the intelligent key in your pocket, all you need to do is to touch the car�??s handle and it opens and same is the case while starting it, just turn the knob and it will start provided you have that microchip embedded Intelligent Key with you.
Its exterior designing is distinct from others; it has a big front chrome grill with high quality headlamps and integrated fog lamps. Well, it's luxury at extreme and that too at an affordable price.
It is priced at Rs. 20,47,000 ex-showroom Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad and Rs. 20,67,000 ex-showroom Mumbai. The Teana was created around the concept of �??Comfort and Relaxation�?�. Teana combines refined, modern design with a smooth, powerful V6 engine though I feel that its 4-speed automatic gear box will not be that good.
Nissan wants this car to be Exclusive on Indian roads so they have planned to sell only 350 of them in a year. So, for that exclusivity and total luxury, grab one now, they have already booked many orders.
