Lamborghini, the Italian ultra-luxury sports car maker is currently selling two of its most popular sports cars- the Aventador and the Huracan in the Indian car market. Being launched in 2011, the Aventador made enthusiasts spell bound through its terrific performance, aerodynamics, powerful engine and marvelous styling. The Italian automaker introduced the all-new Huracan performance sports car in India in 2014. Launched as replacement for the Gallardo, the LP 610-4 sportscar features new hybrid chassis of carbon fibre and aluminium that makes it lighter and responsive.

      Styling- Exterior and Interior

Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 was launched as Lamborghini's "entry-level" supercar, which offers outrageous styling and blistering track performance. The sports car features fierce, fighter-jet inspired lines and a full contingent of gaping air intakes. Like the Huracan, the Aventador features the same aggressive and sporty exterior styling with excellent aerodynamics. The low-height and robust carbon fiber material with a monocoque construction, the Huracan performs extremely well. The car’s rear wing extends automatically when the car is running at high speeds. It is equipped with scissor type doors, sharp character lines which cut through air, large side scoops, pointed edges over bumper and splitter. Inside the cabin, the Aventador features push to start/stop button, keyless ignition, full TFT displays in the cockpit, on-board computer, seven-inch display, navigation, Bluetooth, automatic air conditioning with solar sensors, crepuscular and rain sensors, and many more.

Lamborghini Huracan is powered by the same engine that also powers the Gallardo. Powering the vehicle is a 5.2-litre, naturally-aspirated V10 engine that churns out massive 610bhp, which takes this supercar to 100kmph from zero in mere 3.2 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 325kmph. On the other hand, the Aventador is powered by a 6.5-litre V12 motor that produces a massive 691bhp of power. The vehicle accelerates to 100kmph from zero in mere 2.7 seconds and hits a top speed of 350kmph.

      Verdict

Performance wise both are almost equal, but the Aventador, obviously, has more weight in terms of brand value being the first comer of the two, while the Huracan looks slightly more contemporary. So if you are happy to spend more money and need slightly more power, the Aventador should be your first choice.
