Citroen C3 facelift

Model launch date:

Citroen is likely to launch the facelifted version of the C3 in the country in late 2024.

Feature list:

In terms of design and styling, the updated C3 will feature a new grille, tweaked front and rear bumpers, freshly designed LED headlamps and LED taillamps, redesigned air dams and skid plates, and a new set of alloy wheels. Inside, the cabin is likely to come equipped with a large touchscreen infotainment system with wireless mobile connectivity, customisable digital instrument cluster, automatic dual-zone climate control, sunroof, wireless charging pad, and ambient lighting.

Engine, performance, and specifications:

Under the hood, the facelifted C3 will get the same powertrain options as that of the outgoing model. So, it will continue to be powered by a 1.2-litre NA petrol and 1.2-litre turbo-petrol mills churning out 81bhp/115Nm and 109bhp/190Nm, respectively. While the former comes mated to a five-speed manual gearbox, the latter is coupled to a six-speed manual gearbox. Currently, there is no automatic variant available for the C3 hatchback.

Variants:

The facelifted C3 is expected to be offered in three variants, namely Live, Feel, and Shine.

Safety:

The carmaker has not tested the updated C3 hatchback for any safety ratings.

Competition:

Upon its launch, the facelifted C3 will lock horns with the Maruti Ignis, Tata Punch, Hyundai Exter, and the Maruti Suzuki Fronx in the country.
