The first time I saw the Cruze manual I thought what an awesome muscular looking car, let's see if it drives well. The next day when I test-drove it I liked it but found that the clutch is too hard and if dis-engaged quickly by mistake, the car lurches forward, no way I'm buying this car. Then a friend insisted I try the Automatic. I always wanted Diesel Automatic, so I thought why not. The car feels almost royal with the Auto Box, smoothly accelerating with gear shifts so smooth that you have to concentrate to feel them. The pick up can be extremely slow and smooth or tyre spinningly brutal, depends on your mood and the road ahead. What amazed me is that the Automatic actually gives this car a Jekyll and Hyde kind of personality. It can be driven peacefully like an old man would drive and at the same time can also be driven like a toyboy racer with brutally fast pickup if driven in anger. The turbo lag in the manual is gone. It changes gears according to the pressure on the pedal. The diesel has a huge amount of torque as it is the same engine as the captiva. I somehow feel that SUV engines are always more sturdy, so that's a good thing. The best part of this car is that it is comfortable in Mumbai traffic but it is almost like a Bmw on the freeway (and probably safer than a 3 series anyway). The brakes too have ABS and have a nice feel and bite to them. The interiors are very stylish, just look at the dashboard and you will know, its close to the Accord. There are some people who say that it looks cheap because they are used to the FAKE wood (which to me looks ultra cheap). I am infact glad that there is no wood at all, if you want wood go buy furniture. The rear space is slightly cramped (for 6 footers only) as the roofline is low, but the seating is far better than the old Skoda Octavia atleast. The car is good for people who mostly drive alone or with 1-2 people and with young families. I found it sportier than a laura. The mileage I got on the highway was 14.5 kmpl and city with traffic was 9.5 kmpl, both figures with A.C. on full time. The only thing I changed was the tyres to another make as I thought that the JK tyres would become hard later on. Spent 10k on that. The dealership experience was not bad and a follow up enquiry directly/ independently by the GM would give it a good and direct insight to customer preferences and suggestions. This is my first Diesel and my first Automatic. In the end Drive it to believe it, but drive the Automatic preferably, it's far better and less stressful. Bought this car not because I had to but because I wanted to.

Dear Sir, This is to make you inform that i have purchased Chevrolet Cruise (Chasis - MA6JADGDBBHO16103) JH01AP 1599 in favour of SKM Marketing Pvt. Ltd (Sanjay Kumar Mittal) 9 months ago but i am totally dissatisfied with the Post services provided by the company. I am maintaining three cars presently but i have not noticed in any of them that AC of the cars fails in 6 month only. I have given my car to service station but they are saying Rs. 3000/- will be charged for its repair and maintenance. Please look in to the matter seriously. Regards, S.K.M Mittal.

The Chevrolet Cruze is definitely an attention grabber and its unique and bold design distinguishes it from the other cars on the road. I bought the Chevrolet Cruze about a few months ago and I am absolutely delighted by it. The car comes with an efficient 2.0-litre VCDi diesel engine and the Variable Geometry Turbocharger (VGT) provides an exhilarating thrust and an easy pick up. It provides a decent fuel economy along with lesser emissions. The maximum power generated by the engine is 148 hp and the torque is 327 Nm. The car has a stable suspension system that ensures a smooth drive. The front is equipped with McPherson strut-type suspension while the rear is U-shaped with torsion beam and gas-charged shock absorbers. Comfort and entertainment features provided in the Chevrolet Cruze are definitely the best in its class. The highlights of the car are the three gauge instrument cluster that provides every little detail of the drive, three spoke steering wheel for a comfortable grip, integrated centre stack, USB port and Bluetooth Music Streaming. In an event of an accident or a collision the makers of Chevrolet Cruze have also provided dual airbags to ensure that the passengers are completely safe. The Anti Braking System (ABS) helps in avoiding the wheels from getting locked on slippery surfaces. The Chevrolet Cruze is one of the best choices in its segment.

I am a proud owner of a black coloured Chevrolet Cruze. I purchased the high-end variant, Chevrolet Cruze LTZ AT, almost a year back and so far completely satisfied with the performance, efficiency and features of the premium sedan. The car aces in ever aspect from exterior looks and styling, cabin comfort to engine performance. The sedan, powered by a 1991 cc VCDi diesel engine, has an impressive power and torque performance of 150 hp and 327 Nm respectively. The mileage could however be a lot better than its current city mileage of 9.6 kmpl and highway mileage of 14.7 kmpl. The sedan's comfort options are undoubtedly one of its major selling aspects in the Indian market. Chevrolet Cruze cabin features have the capability to enthral the buyers in to buying the model immediately. The features that still manage to impress me include 40/60 split rear seats, effective air-conditioning system with climate control and an integrated audio system with radio, MP3 player, Auxiliary input and USB port. Making the driver's experience better are simple features like tilt and telescopic steering control, steering mounted audio controls and electrically adjustable outer rear view mirror. Moreover, Chevrolet Cruze has one of the best-in-class safety packages that ensure maximum safety of not only the driver but rear seated passengers as well.

I have recently purchased the new Chevrolet Cruze LT car, which is superior to many other sedans available in the market. Every time I drive this car, I get a feeling of luxury and comfort. Being a General Motors brand, Chevrolet carries trust and faith. I am aware of this brand value and it has motivated me to purchase Chevrolet Cruze LT. The car comes with stylist front grille, which complements the exterior. Due to the chrome affected belt lines, the car carries muscular looks. Some exterior features, which impressed me are body coloured door handles, front fog lamps, body coloured bumpers. The 17 inch alloy wheels are noteworthy feature, which makes it a classic sedan. Till date, I don't have any complain regarding the performance of this car. The company has provided 1991 cc engine in this vehicle, which is supported by four cylinders. One can expect 149 hp power at 4000 rpm and torque of 327 at 2200 rpm, which is quite impressive. Powerful engine contributes towards the acceleration of this car. If mileage is a cause of concern than Chevrolet Cruze LT would be the best option. The car provides mileage of 14 kmpl in city and 18.3 kmpl on highways. Mileage data is extremely impressive for a powerful sedan like Chevrolet Cruze LT.

there are two [problems i faced with this car firstly the life of the battery is only 15 months and the new recommended battery (din 80) costs twelve thousand rupees and the warranty is only for one year again. secondly the ac of the car gives trouble on a long drive after a continuous drive of approx 2 hrs, ther is a valve of ac the spring of which gets stuck (becos ice gets layered on it)and the compressor stops functioning of course the company has agreed to replace it free of cost but it takes about two weeks to procure the valve.so all is not well with chevrolet cruze

Go for the Chevy Cruze, it is powered with 2.0L Diesel engine which pumps 150 BHP of power. Cruze gives you good image and owners pride than a Korean make.
