Delhi born model turned actress, Richa Chadda has quickly carved up a name for herself in the cutthroat world of Bollywood. The history major from St. Stephens has also successfully dabbled in theatre, before gracing the silver screen. She was first seen on screen in her debut film by director Dibaker Bannerjee’s Oye Lucky, Lucky Oye, back in 2009. She then went on to play a key role in director Anurag Kashyap crime drama series - Gangs of Wasseypur I & II.
The actress has since then, gone one to essay a wide range of roles cutting across all genre’s of film. From comedy scripts, to typical masala potboilers, Ms. Richa Chadda has made both, critics as well as audiences to sit up and take notice of her acting chops as she slips in and out of roles with ease. Her last film, Masaan was a huge international success. It graced the elite Cannes Film Festival in 2015, where she won two acclaimed awards for her performance. The young actress, having made a splash on the global scene, went on to join the jury panel alongside Francis Ford Coppola at the Marrakech Film Festival, where he is a president there.
Amidst all this success and stardom, the actress managed to gift herself a chariot befitting her growing stature in the movie industry. Ms. Chadda splurged her rising earnings on a spanking new Audi A4 to ferry her around shoots and other appointments.

Ms Chadda who is now enjoying her Audi for the third year, is due to be back on screen in the highly anticipated dance film Cabaret that’s being produced by Pooja Bhatt. She is also expected to wow audiences with her supporting role alongside actress, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, in the period drama, Sarabjit, some time later in 2016.
