Audi cars in India have typically enjoyed a strong following. From owners & folks aspiring to own one someday to fans who can only keep dreaming about these luxurious automobiles, everyone loves Audi. The famed Quattro all-wheel drive system plays a huge role in this appeal, as people seem to love the fact that no other manufacturer in this class offers such an advanced, yet, easy to operate system. The sheer car control & the commanding grip across varied road conditions is also well respected.
One of the biggest hits in the line-up has been Audi’s Q7. The full-size SUV has garnered a loyal set of customers and fans who seem to love the enormous road presence of the car. Owners seem to swear by the comfort that the big SUV offers, cocooning its occupants in a world of opulence & luxury.
Bollywood in-fact, swears by the Q7 and Karan Singh Grover became the latest among a long list of stars to experience the BigQ. Having recently married his to his Alone co-star, Bipasha Basu, who owns the big SUV, he is also living the Q7 life. Mr. Grover began his career as a model, winning the Gladrags Manhunt Contest, bagging the title of the most popular model there. Balaji Telefilms gave him his first television break, when he starred in ‘Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi’ that aired on MTV India. However, it was his performance in the Indian medical drama, Dill Mil Gaye that rocketed him up the popularity charts.
Apart from this, Karan Sing Grover also went on to act & perform in a handful of dance & action reality shows, before doing a couple of cameo performances & hosting a show on Channel V. Meanwhile, his modelling career too was going fairly decent, with regular appearances in television ads for brands such as Rupa Frontline & travel portal – Cleartrip.com.
His film career, though brief, took a turn for the better last year with the release of Hate Story 3 & Alone, the latter being where he met his future wife to be. His entry into the world of celebrity cars couldn’t have been better, for his wife, Bipasha Basu is known to be a lady who loves her automobiles. It will be mighty interesting to see how the garage expands from here in the coming years.
