Toyota recently showcased the new Auris hybrid at the Geneva motor show. The facelift version of hybrid arrives with a few cosmetic changes and minor updates on other ends. The small family car has maximum modifications over its front end. The updated Auris hybrid comes with a refreshed grill, reshaped bumpers, and redesigned headlights. The side profile looks little longer due to its larger overhangs. The rear portion also receives some updates that make its bumper look more robust, repositioned lights with LEDs and added chrome.
On the inner end, the hybrid car has been bestowed with a redesigned dashboard that looks cleaner and more consistent than before. Several points have received new detailing but the most noteworthy are the new 4.2-inch touchscreen display. Toyota has also upgraded steering and suspension of this green car that takes the riding and driving experience of this car to a completely new level. Fair attempts have been made to reduce NVH levels that allows a much more peaceful and serene rides over freeways.
The power outputs and engine configurations remains unchanged for this Toyota car. The diesel and petrol trims, on the other hand, have been awarded with two new engines – a 1.6-litre diesel and 1.2-litre petrol engine. The hybrid petrol-electric motor configuration remains untouched due to its popularity in European markets. It has accounted for more than half of Auris sales for the year. However, little tweaks have been given for reducing CO2 emissions and improvising its fuel economy.
The price quotient of the Toyota Auris Hybrid remains consistent despite these changes. The price brackets start from £14, 945 to £23, 990. The previous version on the other hand can be availed over the very same prices. The discounted prices may help you save £1600 - £2000 on each unit.
