      • First remove serious defects, then swirl and minor defects. Afterward, you can apply pre-wax cleaning and gloss enhancement.

      • Make sure that pad level remains on the paint surface throughout the polishing.

      • Always begin with gentle movements, then step up only if required.

      • Don’t move the machine too fast over the paint.

      • Polish on small (2’ by 2’) area at a time so that you can focus on work and get the best results.

      • More polish doesn’t make it better. It’s advised to use 3 to 4 pea size dabs only. Add more, if required.

      • If your polish is thin, add more to it, but don’t dry buff.

      • Never polish in direct sunshine or on a hot or warm surface.

      • Don’t use multiple type of polish on the buffing or polish pad.

      • Keep polish pads away from sharp edges and trim. To avoid staining trim or crevices and cracks on polish, tape-off the trim with a tape.

      • Never lift the polish pad over the paint when the machine is on.

      • Keep the polisher cord on your shoulder and away from the paint.

      • To keep the polisher cord plugged-in the extension, tie a loose knot around the connection.

      • Polish on a bright day and an area with good lighting.

      • Apply moderate pressure while removing defects.

      • Keep checking the polish to make sure that your technique is working.
