A windshield wiper or windscreen wiper is an important car accessory. It provides clear visibility and ensures safe drive, especially during snowfall, foggy and rainy season. Most of us overlook these car accessories in India, and it’s usually foggy season or monsoon when we realize that the old wiper blades need a replacement. Cleanup: Wiping or cleaning up car wipers helps extending their life and durability. Clean the wipers’ rubber edge with a moist paper towel or cloth, whenever you fuel the vehicle at a gas station. Always check and clean the sections of the windshield where the wipers rest, since these are more prone to pileup debris.
Warm up: During snowfall or foggy weather, the wipers get frozen. Hacking or splashing away at the snow might damage the wipers and windshield itself. So, it is suggested to use defroster and windshield washer fluid with antifreeze.
Fix up: Wipers should be replaced after every spring and fall. If you stay in heavy snowfall or adverse weather area, you need to replace them more often. If one of the wipers seems damaged or chipped, replace it instantly. However, it’s best to change both the wipers altogether.
