India is a blossoming market of Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) and accounts for a large number of buyers who tend to purchase such cars. Notably, a majority section of these buyers opt for the diesel SUVs in India owing to their mileage and efficiency. The petrol version of the same results in poor fuel economy and is therefore, rejected by the buyers. The SUV segment of the domestic market comprises several diesel cars in India that bear different price tags. One can buy SUV cars, which start at a nominal price of around Rs. 7 lakh and reach up to Rs. 30 lakh.
