Honda CR-Z - A Hybrid Concept...

Honda CR-Z hybrid concept car is among the most iconic and legendary creations of the Japanese auto major. The car was first showcased globally during 2006 and the company had employed some of the most brilliant technologies in it. The company has tapped a robust 1.5-litre in-line 4-cylinder 16-valve SOHC i-VTEC petrol engine under the hood of this hybrid. The mill is able to churn a power output of a decent 112 bhp with a peak torque of 172 Nm. The mill is coupled with a heavy lithium-ion battery pack, which enhances the overall figures of the car to 130 bhp with a maximum torque of 190 Nm. This power-source combination has been coupled with a 6-speed Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) with paddle shifters.

The company has provided state-of-the-art features at the interiors of this hybrid car, which showcases a 7-speaker audio system with display unit and satellite-linked navigation system with voice recognition. Features, such as steering-wheel mounted consoles, automatic climate control, rear view mirror with camera display and SMS text message function have also been given in this Honda hybrid car. Safety features of Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), Traction Control System (TCS), Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) are also given in this car.

Honda CR-Z hybrid concept car is anticipated to soon arrive in the Indian market and is expected to be equipped with all the aforementioned features.
