Sports legend Sachin Tendulkar does not need a formal introduction as the man is acknowledged as the God of Cricket by fans from all over the world. With infinite records in his name, he is undoubtedly one of the most revered players of the cricket arena. Not many people know that he does not only possess the hunger to score more runs but also has a sheer fanaticism for automobile. Sachin Tendulkar's garage has, over the years, kept some of the most brilliantly designed and efficient cars from around the globe. Be it the German bimmer BMW 7 series or the Japanese cult machine Nissan GT-R, all of these automobiles are part of the legend's car portfolio.

      1. One of the earliest collections from his starting career days was the modest Maruti Suzuki 800. The minuscule 0.8-litre petrol engine had a displacement of 790 cc and could churn a power output of almost 40 bhp. Sachin has still kept the Maruti 800 and intends to add it amidst the exclusive vehicle collection.

      2. Next in line is Fiat Palio limited edition, covered with a cloak of yellow. Interestingly, only 600 pieces if this limited edition car were made and one of them was gifted to the legendary cricketer.

      3. The Opel Astra is one of the most special gifts as this car was rewarded with the Man of the Series award he won against arch rival Pakistan, during 1997/98 Coca Cola Cup.

      4. It seems that the legend has a penchant for German auto majors BMW and Mercedes-Benz as he owns 3 from the former car maker and 2 from the latter. The Mercedes cars are C36 AMG – able to cross 0-100 kmph mark in just 5.6 seconds – and 600SL, which is a Grand Tourer model with a 6.0-litre V12 engine.

      5. Coming to the BMW cars, the iconic cricketer himself is the brand ambassador of the German company and he keeps getting a taste of the car maker's latest innovations. First comes the luxurious sedan BMW 7 series – version 760 Li. The all automatic car has a heavy engine of 6.0-litre, which develops a mammoth power output of 545 bhp with peak torque of 750 Nm. It can do a standstill to 100 kmph in just under 4.6 seconds, further blistering to a top speed of 280 kmph.

      6. The next one is BMW X5 M50d, which notably is not even sold in the country. It had to be imported from the global market especially for the cricketer. This Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) has a 3.0-litre diesel engine, which develops a power output of 381 bhp and can cross the 0-100 kmph mark in under 5 seconds. Sachin's garage also features a four-door BMW M6 Gran Coupe, which is incorporated by a 4.4-litre twin turbocharged petrol engine.

      7. Among the most enthralling and adrenaline pumping cars he owns is a Nissan GT-R, which he bought in 2011 after selling the Ferrari 360 Modena Spyder. This speed cruiser from the Japanese auto major can cross the 0-100 kmph mark in under 2.9 seconds. The Nissan car flaunts a sporty red body paint and its flamboyance can leave any onlooker completely stunned.
