The diesel variant, on the other hand, arrives with an option of a 2.0-litre Common Rail Injection and 3.0-litre V6 exhaust gas turbocharging mill. The former engine produces a power output of 175 bhp with maximum torque of 380 Nm, while these figures are escalated to 242 bhp and 580 Nm in the latter mill. All these engines are mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission, which delivers all the energy evenly to the four wheels of the SUV.

The luxury and entertainment features are generally standard in almost all the Audi cars and this trend can also be perceived in this SUV. Audi Q5 comes integrated with premium leather upholstery and dashboard, both offered in dual-tone shades. The 4-spoke power steering is mounted with necessary consoles and is wrapped in a leather cover. The main panel is mounted with a touchscreen infotainment system for navigation and entertainment purposes. Stylish dials and knobs are also provided on the centre armrest for the utmost convenience of passengers. Safety features in this car match to the necessary equipment available in all the SUV cars in India. Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Electronic Stabilisation Program (ESP), Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), Automatic Locking Retractor (ALR) and multiple airbags come standard in this SUV.

The car with all of its features can be purchased within the price bracket of Rs. 45.70 lakh – Rs. 58.70 lakh. Experts believe that among all the Audi cars in India, this SUV has been a top-notch seller for the company owing to its power-packed performance and cost-effective price range.
