What is the easiest method to determine a car's average mileage? Any comments on Ford Figo ZXi model avg?

keep a log book indicating the amt of petrol you put against the mileage (i meaning the total running of your car). that should give you an idea. use trip meter to record distance. or if you go long distance fill you car drive and after that again fill it to brim. get the diffn in ltrs to km`s you drove. that`l be a higher figure for long drives give btr mileage. cant expect that in city.

Hi,
When filling petrol note down the exact mark on fuel gauge,note down amount of fuel filled, start the trip meter and run the car till the earlier mark in fuel gauge is reached. Total KM covered divided by liters of fuel added gives actual mileage. Wwith ford Figo you can get mileage up to 14 KMPL on average.

While filling fuel, Fill it to the capcity of tank, set the trip meter to ZERO and run the car to 200km & again full the tank, Total KM covered divided by liters of fuel added gives actual mileage
