I m having Apache RTR 160 carburetor version, 13K Kms done and getting 45KMPL on highway in hills driving between 40-65KMPH and a 100KM without stop stretch. Warlier I even got 65KMPL on highway driving between 45-55 KMPH. I would also welcome suggestions on the same from experts.

A average mileage of arround 45KMPL should be quite good with RTR 160 CC.The mileage can be improved slightly with scheduled maintenance like replacing of clutch plate at regular intervals etc.
City driving always takes a toll on mileage. However when choosing a bike we want the most glamorous and sexy looking of them all. Naturally when the emphasis is on the sporty aspects, the mileage will be lower. You cannot change your tune now and expect better mileage. If mileage is still important to you, please sell your bike and go for Honda Twister 110cc. Looks and mileage both.
