I own a Bullet myself(standard 4s) and would not replace it with any other model. Bullet is for its comfort and it is reliable as any other bike with a little bit more care. You can have better thump with changed silencer. Buy one and if you feel you are not happy with the thump do some modifications.

100% sure u will get thump if u changed silenser,fix silenser of Enfield standard model,few days back my friend did.he is happy now...:)

Dont even think about the thunderbird. It has basic problems with the chassis design itself. The rear mudguard breaks after a while since the rear supports rest on the mudguard. Thats the reason for low resale value of the thunderbird. So I disagree with Shiv. Instead you can buy the electra twin spark and change the silencer, you will get the thump for sure. The twin spark is just to ensure you get complete combustion of the air and fuel mixture thereby ensuring a better milage for the bike and better power too. So all in all more refined. Go for it!.

No other bike is better than bullet Std ..... With this bike u can change sound with the help of points ....all other models r good for nothing ....I have 3bullet STD 1976 1977 and 2002 all r in good cond and I am happy with them classic is not good either ....first try STD and then try anyother bike u will make able to make the diff

Bullet Electra TS engine comes wits UCE construction which is made by aluminum. The new engine is very reliable & maintains free. But the original deep and loud cast iron thump missing here. By changing silencer you can achieve maximum 70% of the original Cast Iron engine thump.

I have new electra 350,it is amazing.if u want more height then electra will be the good one.
