hi experts, i just want to know whether its really worth and valuable to wait for new swift 2011 diesel car as am ready to wait for even six to eight months to book it or its better to go for current swift vdi diesel car ? whether any major modifications has been done in new swift diesel car or whether they modified only the body of the car ? one of my major question is, whether the company will launch "new swift 2011" with both petrol and diesel cars at the same time or whether they will launch petrol car first and then later with diesel car or what ??

Buying swift now will be the better option (my opinion only)

no one knows what will happen after 6 months, dont wait just go ahead and buy whatever u want and enjoy :)

Y swift?? there won be any big engine change in the diesel. it`l still be using the fiat 1.3. thats wat almost all the reviews say and yes diesel will be launched later.. also testdrive other makes i`m sure u`l find a btr sompetent to swift and u can get your car pretty quick....

It wont be worth waiting for Swift of 2011 as the date is not yet confirmed. You can go for latest Swift or try with Ritz.

I purchased a Swift Zxi last week for 6 Lakhs on road at Pune and I feel you need not wait as I feel that some cosmetic changes are being done. Read the Review in CarTrade and you will agree.
I drove i20,Fiat Grand Punto,and Volkswagen POLO, and finally decided Zxi is the BEST VALUE FOR MONEY with the BEST SERVICE available in India and further all the parts are available with very reasonable price.
THere is no better vehicle and better vehicle Manufacturers other than Maruti for years to come as they have built a good reputation and it is very difficult to others to come near it.
Unless the competitors PRICE it little cheaper and scale down the spare parts price and give the best ON ROAD service,it will take some more time to others to surpass it.
Hyundai will be the next choice but I do not think they can topple Maruti.
