Cars Q&A
Yamaha to my knowledge gives good after service, and performance is also good but resale, yamaha`s resale can`t be predicted.. try out karizma would be much btr....
Bullet classic. Has superb resale too. Check the waiting list for a bullet classic. 3 months!!!
Hi,
I own a Yamaha Gladiator, which itself is poor at all aspects, Low Milage, High Maintenance & poor Performance.
Just compare yamaha spares with Bajaj, Front disk Pads: for Bajaj-Hardly 250 where as for Yamaha its 750+Labor+ taxes,
I don't remember ever as i have not at all paid less than 1000/- for service till date.
Fazer is good powered bike but vibrates much, no rear disk breaks, oil cooling, HID lights like Pulsar 220,
If u r willing to use bike for more than 2 years, then i would suggest to go with Pulsar 220..
Hi,
I would suggest Royal Enfield if you are a man and thinking to keep the bike as long you live.
Hi,
Considering overall parameters as mentioned, Bajaj Pulsar would be a better selection.
Bajaj pulsar 220 is a better option. As my son is using this and he is fully satisfied with its performance and mileage
Hi,
I would suggest pulsar 220.As i am using it.Its performance is superb and mileage is also good. When it comes to service and resale bajaj has a good resale and service than yamaha.its waste investing 83k for a 150cc fazer.
P220 is atleast 4 - 5000 cheaper then the Fazer. And it wins in a feature to feature comparison with Fazer as well. You get additional features like rear disc brake, projector headlamp, part-oil cooled engine, higher power and similar fuel-efficiency. Service costs are lower and resale value better. Fazer only scores on two fronts - better gear box and mono suspension. My ownershp experience with the P220 is definitely satisfying. I would vote for the Bajaj Pulsar 220
Try out both bikes.
Technically P220 is a better vehicle except for Gear Box.
Fazer has little low seating compared to Pulsar 220.
If you are 5 ft 6 in. or shorter , Fazer may be more comfortable to ride in city traffic.
Decide after trying out , especially in bumper to bumper city traffic.
HI,
Pulsar is captured its market at a short stinct means it is very good bike for milege, less maintenance & good road performance, where as Yamaha more known for sports utility bike rather than for daily use, so for daily use Pulsar is very good and Fazer is good for young guns with tall & stylish look, more maintenance, less milege, as you can see some old yamaha rx is still popular among sports youth for its cranky sound in college campus.
hello mr.daman
hmmm, i wont say u r selection of bike is wrong, but i dont like both bikes,
p220= there are 2models, with fuel injection carburator for 93k, and another is with ordinary carb for around 80k, no resale value, u cant service easily near u r house, and 1 basic thing aboutn pulsar is every year a new model comes when the new model comes the b4 model gets outdated and if u wanna sell it, it will go for half of price u purchased and spent on bike, dont go for looks as bajaj changes looks every years, just check out how many model pulsars u have seen, mileage around 45for brand new then 35-40as it gets old
talking abt fazer, plz dont go for that, 1st it is same yamaha fz's engine, disc brake is not worth, 2nd tubeless tyres costs 4500rs, every one cant take punture(vulcanize), resale value is pooor, sevice costs is more, mileage around 35-40kmpl in chennai traffic, price is 83k,
but if u go for karizma, which comes around same price,
advantage:225cc, sporty, it will give same mileage as pulsar and fazer 35-40, resale value is good and can sell sooon, buyer is ready to buy we u want to sell, hero honda long lasting service is good(atleast better than bajaj and yamaha)all 200cc bikes maintence is 1000rs min, if u want pleasure u have to spend
