I wish to buy a small car. I wish to buy M0800 AC/Non AC. Is it stopped from production by Maruti Suzuki. What about the owners of M-800 who use M-800. Help me with your reply. Venkat, Hyderabad

Hi,
Maruti Suzuki 800 is still available for sale in non metro city.It would be phased out gradually.If willing to buy, you can buy it frm city other than 13 cities where BS IV norms are applicable.

its better u dont go for the 800..
u can get alto, if u can extend ur budget little more...!

Thanks for your replies. If I buy a M-800 BS IV, from other city, other than Hyderabad, will it fetch operatiional problems, such as required Petrol or spare parts.

Thanks for your suggestion. If I buy another brand like Alto-BS-IV, after sometime, Alto-BS IV may be substituted by BS-V. Whay about the BS IV cars then? I am totally confused and unable to choose the right car.

Dint worry about norms, it is applicable to manufacturers and they will take care of it. Service and usage of any car remain unaffected with introduction of new norms.
