Dear Sir, Thank you for all suggestions, regarding the Crank and sproket complaint of my Santro Xing erlx. I rectified the complaint on the basis of your suggestions with a local mechanic who have lathe and other fecilities and have creative ideas. First the mechanic removed the sprocket which is fitted at the end of Crankshaft along with the A/C pully. Then he reduced the dia of Sproket by welding and suit its dia fit for the crank by grinding the sproket dia. by doing this he rectify the play in between crank outer dia and sproket inner dia. Now the problem rectified and the vehicles pulling increased. I don't know how long it will last? any way now the problem rectified. if you have any suggestions regarding the precautionary measures to be adopted the recurrance of the same problem. with regards, Anu Cajetan
