After the initial formalities like FIR, informing the insurance co etc FINALLY u need to procure a NO TRACE CERTIFICATE from the concerned police station. Here there is no limit* Use ur influence to get it. After that about 2-4 weeks by the company.

Police will give you "NO TRACE CERTIFICATE" after 40 to 60 days of time, if you have influence than you can get early. After submitting "NTC" to insurence officer than you will receive the cheque within a week

The time limit for getting NTC can not be mentioned as it greatly depends upon ability of police dept and influence power which is though not good ,still a reality.Generaly it cantake upto 2 months and later you can claim from insurance.

THE FINAL UNTRACE REPORT IS TO BE ISSUED AFTER 6 WEEKS OR 42 DAYS OF THEFT AND AFTER SUBMISSION OF THE SAME INSURANCE CO.WILL TAKE ABOUT 15 DAYS TO PROCESS THE CLAIM AND AFTER APPROVAL OF THE CLAIM YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO GET THE REGISTRATON TRANSFERRED IN INSURANCE COMPANY NAME AND AFTER THAT IT LIKELY TO TAKE A WEEK TO GET YOUR REIMBURSEMENT CHEQUE.
