Hi,
For the requirments mentionedSwift Dzire would be a good selectionas sedan and in SUV, Tata Sumo Grande MKII would be a optimum selection.

If you have more than 1500km per month to drive ,then go for the diesel model Dzire. It is a very good car with good performance, looks and driving comforts. I own a Dzire vxi model which is petrol driven and I had been driving the same for the past one and hal;f years. As I have only about 800km driving per month I opted for petrol driven one.I am a fully satisfied customer and I get good service from maruti service network wherever I am.It has ample bootspace of 464ltrs which is very good for long trips.

There is differences between SwiftDzire 2009 madel and swiftDzire 2010model(petrol).These are 1)2010 models (those delivered after january 16th 2010)are fitted with latest Kserries engine.2) Bharat stage IV. 3)Slightly more leg space. 4)BHP 84 instead of 85 of the previous model.5)Higher mielage.i.e. 17.9 Km/L in stead of 15.9 of the previous one.6) engine capacity 1200cc(new model) in stead of 1300cc of previous one.One may be nervous to decide which one is superror among these two model. Certainly the latest one is more efficient and older one is superrior.Reducing loss of energy with it's latest technology (that is why it is EuroIV)new model is more desirable but older one will have more longivity because of it's superrior characters.
