Cars Q&A

Question
I wish to buy a "ALL New Honda City i-Vtec". During test ride, I foun dthe suspension to be a bit too bouncy, giving you a feeling as if you are travelling in a maruti 800 of old days. Similarly headlights appeared inadequate. Kindly give me advice.

Hi,
Its quite a different kind of experience with otherwise a good suspension car. There could be prblem with the car you have test drive due to excessive usage. Please ask for test driving of other car. However if still dissatisfied it is recommended to test drive a Mitsubishi Cedia.

Dear Sir,

Please do not go for new Honda City. The engine mounting system is wrongly designed. The suspension is deffective. The back portion hits down if you going on the very bumpy road. The manufacture(HONDA) has not done proper R&D for Indian roads.

Hi
It never occured to me that City"s suspension has any problem.
It is true that the back portion can hit the road/bump because its ground clearance is only160 cm.In fact the ride is very smooth and really fantastic (has to be smooth road)
I am only worried about the fuel efficiency (10.5Km/ltre on town.

Have no problems since I drive on good roads(C'garh)-milage is OK -lights can be adjusted by the driver-after sales is also good!would reccomend.

Mileage of 10.5Km/ltre on town is very fine for an engine producing 118 bhp. Honda is known for it's quality.
