as suggested by our expert shankar indica vista would be a better choice for its upgraded features .vista drivetech is far better a car than the earlier version ,very smooth and peppy,total VFM in its price range.as far as palio is concerned its a very good car but after the introduction of punto is hardly available ,that too in smaller towns, almost on the verge of being phased out.

in my view if you are keen on a good small diesel car go for Punto if u ve the budget other wise Indica vista turbo is the second best option in that range.

Palio is good car.If you are going for a used car, buy petrol instead of diesel. Diesel engines are hard to evaluate. mainatianance cost are high for diesel engines. Buy a petrol/LPG version of palio.

The new vista drivetech4 would be the better option. The Palio was a a nice car. But it is very old now. Its phased out and it is going to be very difficult to find one. Maybe a second hand. But the better thing to do is go for the new vista drivetech4. Its new technology is superb. I have driven it and its new gearbox is very smooth. U'll love it!! Its a nice family car. Although i own & love FIAT Palio D, I would agree with most of the people above. Fiat Palio is a great car, but Vista has the same engine & power but more features and easy availability of parts. Also, parts are a little cheaper than a Palio.
