Mr. Mathew, If you believe those enthusiasts who want to experiment on others cars(soft Targets like you), then you will end up selling your car to scrap in no time apart from loosing the investment for that GAS separator/ converter those guys want to sell you.So please beware of such tricks.

Hydrogen cannot be "separated" from water so easily as it needs to be Ionized under strong electric field. Be careful you dont end up blowing up the carburettor abnd engine by such schemes...

Stay away!!!

You can do this if you don't mind scrapping the car if it fails, because it involves in adding the oxygen seperated from water to the intake valve where the combustion can be improved by feeding more oxygen to the fuel. Requires a powerful battery and a well sealed design or the oxygen can get leaked leading to fire problems. Better to stay away from it.

Hi,
It will be good to work out as a project instead of general utlisation. Hence it wont be worth trying.

Instead of spending on Hydrogen unit replace your AT with MT you will get 5-7KM more mileage per litre.

don't do it. try lpg or cng kits instead.

do not try new things on your vehicle.as the previous man has said you will just end up blowing up the vehicle and it will not be worth the scrap.i am a owner of corsa and for the make, power of the engine and pickup and the sheet metal they have used to make this car a rugged stuff for safety of the occupants you should be glad to compromise on fuel to some extent.you cannot desire to have a lion and refuse to feed it.

Hi,

I appreciate to see at least some one is there who thinks, cares & being proactive about fuel saving, in fact it's important to save fuel for our next generation.

I remember i had seen a news that somebody had used the same technology to run Hindustan Motor's Contessa in Bangalore & he was successful too..

Firstly i suggest that let him prove his project by connecting a small hydrogen cylinder initially, it will definately prove whether his statement is correct or not. Even instead of doing so much of work, it would be better if u can fit a medium size Hydrogen cylinder inside your car as refilling hydrogen is not a big deal & also it will reduce your initial investment too.

As i am a part of Efficiency Management Team, we always welcome innovative ideas, so what i can suggest you is to just take an official agreement done along with the annx. attached with complete details of modifications he is going to do, lab test reports of the hydrogen converter & all equipments, further take his written statement stating if any problem occurs to the car due to his project, he will refund it fully.

If he agrees, then you please get it experienced & when u r satisfied fully, then u pay him.

Also kindly send me that mechanics details to swapnilnatuatgmaildotcom. I am also interested to save fuel...

One more thing, i don't know what's the condition of ur car but the model u specified don't have any good resale value, so u can do this experiment without any worries, in fact i am ready to take this risk on my 2002 model sonata..

All the best...

Warm Regards,
Swapnil Natu.
