Considering that Alto mileage of average of 15KMPL in city.The milege you are getting is very less.The problem could be in fuel pump or throttle bosy.Please get the same inspected in other service center.
check the clutch plates and clutch setting and make sure that you are not driving in half clutch or clutch is partially pressed at the time when u r driving.
What is the total mileage of the car(kms done)?

are you driving yourself or its a driver driven car??? normally drivers steals fuel.. and the owner calculate lesser mileage....
Go for a highway driving (at least 80km)at a stretch (obviously without resting your foot on clutch pedal)and then measure mileage (adopting full tank to full tank method) and then let us know the mileage. Depending upon this value we can suggest what to do next....there are lot of things needs to be checked. Fuel consumption really depends lot on rod condition and driving style. In a very congested road the mileage may be as low as 9km/lt again it may be more than 17Km/lt in a high way for an ALTO car.
