Cars Q&A

Question
I am planning to buy a car of diesel variant. My preference will be for the maximum milage per liter, price on road, and cost of running over the years. my list of cars is Maruti Desire, Skoda Fabia, Ford Fiesta, or Tata Indica Vista. I am planning to spend between 5L for the car. Will a second hand car be a good proposition? if so then which one? Please reply to me on my email. Thank You.

Hi,
For the requirment and budget range mentioned,Dzire is sedan where as others are hatchbacks. Considering the budget range New Indica Vista would be a good choice.

Hi there,

I dont agree with Mr. Shiva Shankar at all. According to your need, I would never prefer you Fabia and Vista. If you are strict at your budget point than go for Desire (+ve points: Maruti Make, Good resale value, and good price) but I recently Bought a new Ford Fiesta (SXi) last month. I am very happy with it, you may see loads of Desire running on roads so Fiesta with all loaded features and little high price is a very nice option (+ve points: Nice look, nice features, good mileage on road).
So all depends on your budget: Maruti Desire & Ford Fiesta)

If you are interested in sedan and from the 2nd hand market,it is my opinion,go for Fiesta. It is available in the market than D'zire and the features are much higher. The power and a/c performance is better. It gives more value for your money.Just drive both vehicles and decide which is your choice.

Go for swift desire as first choice and vista as second. I own a ford fiesta diesel, it is an excellent vehicle but has no resale value, very high cost of repairs and will be replaced by a new model next year.
