Cars Q&A

Sir, I am getting a used Maruti Zen with Automatic trasmission. Its a 2001 Lx modal with a very less millage of 38000. Kindly suggest about the handling, millage and gearbox for this automatic hatchback. Will it be good to buy an automatic zen.(I am not a handicap/disabled person)Thanks.

Expert`s comment:

Zen AT version if available in good condition is always worth buying for its comfort ride quality and ease of operation. Also as its sparingly used it will be worth going for the same if available in genuine price.

I would recommend a normal control car and not an AT version. A five/six year old, well maintained car should be alright for you. All I can say is that my car is fifteen years old and has done almost three Lac Km and no problem.

Maruti Zen with Automatic trasmission gives an average of 8 to 10 km.make sure that its engine spare parts are available.consult your mech.according to me the manual one is the best than AT.
