I plan to purchase an used July 2007 model Sk - 8822

I plan to purchase an used July 2007 model Skoda Laura L&K. I have the following questions to ask.. Is it advicable to go in for this model specifically used one? The car is 50k kms done and I would like to know which components needs to be checked before the decision? My usage is approx. 70kms per day in city and 1-2 time a month out of city during weekend for 400kms trip. What would be the right price for the same? Please help me with clarifications on the above. Hi,
Generally at 50K KM there wont be requirement for major services.Apart from regular cheak up,oil change its suspensions needs to be inspected and any running defects arising due to wear and tear or faulty parts needs to be inspected and replaced if necessary.With the usage mentioned and year of make ,Laura of 2997 can bebiught fro around 8 to9 lac max.

For 2006/2007/2008 vehicles AC compressor(80K) for laura has known issues...which was rectified later.For Laura after 60K generally flywheel,driveshafts may go bad at any point of time. please get them checked before buying. I recently spent around 2.8L for all these parts....But its the best car to drive. i got these parts recently changed for my vehicle...My friends also had similar with flywheel and driveshafts...You can buy it for 9.5L MAX. check if at all the vehicle vibrates more than normal at standalone position, it can be problem with flywheel. and also check when you turn the vehicle it makes "tak tak" sound then it can be problem with driveshaft/lowerarms.
