Hi,
To upgrade from Maruti 800 and considering budget range you can go for a Chevrolet Beat which has god combination of style, power and mileage.Alternativey recommended to test drive Maruti Suzuki Astar.

If you want one from the Maruti stable, the A-Star is an option with pretty much the same space as an Alto and good mileage.
Have you considered the Hyundai i10 ?

thanx Mr.Shiva and Mr.Manish
I have taken testdrive of Astar and Beat but both as dash board at higher level which gives poor vison while driving, and A star has less space in dicky.
Also i have test drive the Polo petrol and apart from milege i like the car most.can somebody tell le what is average of polo petrol in city?
and also pl. suggest me the cat between polo petrol, ritz disel, figo disel.

U might wana look at the the Vista drivetech4. It definitely has more space than the Astar and a lot more comfy. It has a luxurious touch to it. Since u've already had a Maruti before..why dnt u change to another company now. It suits ur budget also. U said u took the testdrive..so how was it?
