i bought an automatic scorpio in january.the gear lever gives a vibrating sound when accelerating.what can be the possible reason?how can it be corrected?i am yet send the car for first service.

Unless this is a design flaw, it can be easily fixed. Make sure you mention you will ask for a replacement vehicle for a manufacturing DEFECT if your first service is unable to fix the problem. That will make them pay attention.

must be a screw loose somewhere. get it checked at your first service.

Hi,
The vibration noise could be due to faulty lever adjustment which is quite unusual.The problem needs thorough inspection before concluding.Hence recommended to take it to dealer workshop if any problem is there then it could be rectified under warranty.
