Cars Q&A

I want to buy a car but confused between Chevy Beat and Figo...I have heard that Figo's Mileage is only 12 compared to 16 of Beat. Also spares of Figo are Expensive. People say that Beat will last more longer and is better .... I am confused

  • Expert Hi,
With Figo you can get mileage of around 15KMPL on average.Spares cost of Ford cars has come down by little margine and maintenance wont be too expensive.

However Chevrolet Beat has advantages like higher power ,bold styling, 3 years warranty etc The boot space of Beat is lesser than Figo.If you like the style and apeal of Beat then you can go ahead with the same and it would give satisfactory performance.

  • Beat gives 16 km for 2-3 liters i guess and who says the Chevy spares are less costly . Please wait for a period when the car has clocked some km and you will feel like eating your words.I was thrown out of the Chevy workshop stating that their cars were Luxury cars and hence the repairs and Spares very expensive. Mind you they are not available any where else and even for small problems the Chevy needs to be towed to the nearest Garage...

  • Beat is the best choice. Figo is totally no go. Check out the resale of any ford car. The chevy has for sure changed their whole strategy and look like very serious about their india plan. Also interms of space, looks and power it scores miles ahead of the figo. Just take a test ride, that should settle it all.
ROFL someone here has mentioned that you cant get these spares you get spares of any manufacturer anywhere else?
